Baby Modeling: Both Parents Should Agree
The decision to have your child do baby modeling is a big one, but can bring a lot of benefits with it. It is not for every child, however, and before you make the decision it is important that both of the child's parents consider the possible benefits and problems which it could bring, and come to an agreement that both are happy with. They should also decide what role each of them will play in the baby modeling process. Along the way there are lots of things you need to consider.
First of all both of the child's parents should be on the same page with regard to baby modeling, so that they support each other in the decision. This way everyone involved is likely to understand and to benefit from the decision, and with the support of both parents there will be a more responsible and positive approach to the whole thing.
If one parent is against the idea of baby modeling, and the other in favour, then the two of them have some negotiating to do so you can reach an agreement. If they do not do this then there will be arguments and negativity, and this will affect the child and how well he or she can perform, and there will be other stresses and problems too. The parents should discuss the benefits and problems of baby modeling, and only decide in favour of it if both decide that it is beneficial.
If both the mother and father do agree that they will put their child into baby modeling, then they need to work out how they are going to share the responsibility, as well as other issues. For example:
-Where will the profits from baby modeling go?
-Who will attend photo shoots and follow up leads?
-Who will take care of the house and other children while this is being done?
-How much time will be given over to the baby modeling process?
-How will you both manage the demands of baby modeling, work, home and other children?
-How will you work having quality time with your whole family, as well as having time for each other and yourselves as individuals, into the schedule?
It is important that you consider all the aspects of the baby modeling process before you do anything about signing your child up for it, but if you do decide to go ahead with it, then there are all kinds of benefits to be gained. If you can work it out together so that both parents and the family as a whole are well taken care of, then this in itself will be one of these positives which you can gain as a result of having your child do baby modeling.
